Application

Surface Preparation – Allow surfaces to dry for a minimum 24-48 hours before applying cristallo Clear. Painted surface should be clean, dry and fully cured prior to application. For surfaces not painted with Sapphire Metallic, apply on a small test area to ensure the color and desired effect is achieved.

Application – Cristallo Clear can be brushed, rolled, or spray applied. Stir thoroughly before use, do not shake. For best results and maximum protection, it is recommended to apply two or more coats for interior/exterior use. For floor applications, add an anti-slippery additive and it is recommended to apply minimum 2 coats. For porous surfaces such as plaster, concrete, stone, etc. it is recommended to dilute the first coat with up to 40% water to allow better penetration.

Brushing – Use a high-quality synthetic bristle brush.

Rolling – Use a high-quality short nap varnish roller.

Spraying – To spray Cristallo, thin with up to 5% water.

Dry Times – Dry to touch time is approximately 4-6 hours. Recoat time is a minimum of 3 hours. Lower temperature and/or higher humidity will lengthen the dry and cure times.
